Responsibilities:
- Lead investigations: Dive into the heart of complex large loss claims involving building failures due to structural collapse, fires, explosions, water damage, and other events.
- Conduct thorough analysis: Don your engineer’s detective hat and assess damage patterns, analyze materials, reconstruct failure sequences, and uncover the root cause with laser-sharp precision.
- Evaluate causation: Determine whether damages are the cause of design flaws, faulty construction, weather events, wear and tear, or improper maintenance – your judgment will be the guiding light.
- Prepare comprehensive reports: Your words carry weight – craft detailed, technical reports documenting your findings, analysis, and conclusions, ready to stand strong in any courtroom.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering is required.

- Minimum 10 years of experience in forensic engineering or related field.
- Proven track record of successfully investigating and resolving complex building failures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- PE license required.
